They are impassable. Two heavy wet snow and ice high wind events during this past week have taken a disastrous toll. After the first storm, a small group of volunteers worked for two days at Silver Valley and were only able to clear 4 miles of the 22 miles of trails. Last night’s storm knocked down a lot more trees and completely covered the work that had been accomplished.
