Gooooood morning Boyne Mountain! It's Kyler, with today's snow report.
It's a great day to be on the slopes!
Cloudy skies with a high around 40° and winds W at 10 to 15 mph. After the rain we dealt with yesterday, this feels like a gift. The groomers were out last night as the rain moved out, so the cord had plenty of time to settle in and firm up. If you're up here early, you're in for some primo spring corduroy runs this morning.
But don't get too comfy... There's more action on the way this weekend!
Weekend Forecast
Saturday brings another system rolling through. Morning starts with a mix of rain and freezing rain before transitioning to light rain in the afternoon. High of 44° with winds SE at 10 to 20 mph.
Sunday looks better, with overcast with temps nearly steady in the mid 30s and winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph. Perfect for getting some turns in before or after our Easter Egg Hunt on the Mountain Grand Lodge lawn. Bring the kids, hunt some eggs, make some laps. That's a Sunday well spent.
Terrain Update
Alpine and Superbowl are closed for the season.
After Sunday, April 19, we'll be winding down to the one and only... VICTOR GLACIER!
Get those turns in. The season isn't over yet.
With Big Mountain Energy, Kyler
#BME
